Job Description
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Treasurer and Secretary, the Director of Finance will be responsible for developing strategies and managing activities, operations and policies related to the treasury function, including cash management, financing, payment processing, and capital structure management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead and manage all aspects of cash and liquidity management
Lead cash management projects – pay card/direct deposit implementations, payroll bank account
management, ACH disbursements, EDI capabilities, etc.
Prepares daily and weekly cash reporting timely and accurately for executive management
Reviews monthly medical plan reporting
Own and manage long-term forecasting and modeling; update quarterly with input from various sources
Track financial ratios for historical and projected credit metrics and liquidity targets
Participate in bank group relationship management and development
Maintain summary of applicable debt capital market transactions, calculate key ratios/metrics for peer companies, and provide summary of public company relevant data
Create and develop financial models as needed
Assist with due diligence, investment process and analysis for other investments
Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements
Additional duties as required by supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises Treasury Analyst
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
o Minimum seven years of experience in finance, treasury or accounting
o Knowledge of capital markets and accounting, finance and tax principles
o Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
o Experience leading, coaching and developing staff members
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills
Preferred
o Strong treasury or investment background
o MBA or other advanced degree in finance, economics, statistics or similar fields
o CTP, CFA or CPA
