Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to join Agilyx as Director of Corporate Finance. Reporting to the CFO, this highly visible role will be responsible for driving strategic transactions, overseeing portfolio performance, supporting capital markets activity, and investor and lender engagement. This is a hands-on, analytically rigorous role that requires a mix of technical excellence, commercial acumen, and collaborative execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate Agilyx's investment portfolio through active participation in subsidiary operating committees
- Support and execute corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and other corporate initiatives
- Develop and own detailed financial models (DCF, merger, project finance, scenario analyses) to support decision-making
- Draft high-quality investment memos, board presentations, and investor communications
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional due diligence and deal execution processes
- Collaborate directly with the CFO and CEO to develop and execute capital markets strategies, including equity offerings, structured financing solutions, and credit facility management.
- Serve as a key liaison with investment banks, lenders, investors, legal counsel and external advisors
- Support broader corporate development and strategic planning initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or a corporate development team
- Deep familiarity with chemicals, infrastructure, environmental services, or industrials preferred
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise; fluent in Excel and scenario-based analysis
- Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to distill complex topics into compelling, board-ready presentations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident engaging with C-suite leaders and external stakeholders
- Highly organized, intellectually curious, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Low ego, collaborative, and self-motivated team player with a bias for action
- Direct experience with capital markets transactions (IPOs, PIPEs, debt raises, etc.)
Education/Training
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree is preferred), or comparable work experience in a related field

Reports to: CFO
Type: Salaried, Exempt; Full time
Regular office hours: Typically, between 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work to support projects may be needed.

Work environment: Professional office with occasional need to travel
Travel: Occasional travel (Up to 20% travel should be expected)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $130,000 - $170,000 per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and location.
